Listen…You don’t need more information, motivation, strategies, tips, or techniques.
You need to know who you are – period.
High performers often double down when something feels off—but working harder doesn’t solve for being unclear about who you are.
Working harder without shifting who you are is a recipe for unsustainably getting a little more, that’s slightly better or different from what you already have. It’s exhausting and the results are usually not worth the extra effort.
By all means “do the most”, but only if that lights you up.
Otherwise, be you – do less – and have what matters (to YOU).
Most goal achievement or self-improvement systems, frameworks, and programs are based on an externalized model: “Once I do this (action, habit, achievement), then I’ll be who I want to be.”
But that belief puts your identity in the hands of the outcomes. And when your life is organized around achievements, it’s dangerously easy to confuse progress with purpose.
It sounds like:
That thinking creates an identity loop that never closes—because you’re always reaching outside of yourself to prove who you are.
The truth is…You are the starting point.
Your identity is not an outcome—it’s the foundational source of your reality. Everything you create, lead, earn, or impact flows from the beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and actions that originate from your current identity.
And you can shift your identity in real time.
I remember being so shaken by changes at work or in relationships. At first it was hard to notice because I was so used to ignoring the effects of things on me. Eventually, the impact became emotionally and physically undeniable.
I had no idea how much I could control and shift what I believed, thought, felt, and did.
I built The Power Playbook because I never want myself or anyone to have to suffer to find their power. It’s built on the principle that your essence—who you truly are—already holds the clarity and power you need to be clear, focused, and grounded.
It’s not about finding yourself.
It’s about owning yourself.
Research from MIT shows that identity-based behavior change is more powerful and sustainable than goal-based action. When your choices reinforce who you know yourself to be, your brain strengthens that identity loop—making lasting transformation not just possible, but natural.
When you repeatedly embody a new identity, your brain begins to hardwire that version of you as your default.
Dr. Joe Dispenza’s research shows that through neuroplasticity, who you consistently practice being—emotionally, mentally, and behaviorally—becomes who you are, not just what you do.
So start with your true identity, then small, daily actions aligned with who you are will compound into massive outcomes naturally—not because you chased the result, but because you owned the source.
You don’t need a better to-do list.
Choose to show up as your essence – the part of you who already knows what matters most and what, if anything, to do about it.
Start there. Everything else becomes clear.
Love you deep!
