Goal-setting talk is always present in our culture, but it’s especially common at the beginning of a new year. Last week we talked about setting multidimensional goals that honor your intention and help you step into your power. This week, we’re tackling a related topic: the myth of consistency.
Like everything we do at Evók, we have a different perspective on consistency and how it relates to achieving your goals or bringing about desired outcomes. We believe that consistency comes down to intention. So many of us don’t have mastery in this area, so we set goals that we don’t honestly want to meet, or we think we should become completely different people to get what we want.
In this episode, we’re breaking down the idea of consistency and talking about what it actually looks and feels like to show up for something consistently. We talk about why intention is such an important component of consistency and why you need to tell yourself the truth about the goals you’re setting. And we talk about overcoming and honoring the gap between who you are now and who you want to become.
