Time for Self

Last week, we talked about the importance of pleasure and play. We need both in our lives, so why do so many women struggle to make time for it? And it’s not just making time for enjoyment we struggle with; it’s making time to get to know ourselves.

Can you say with confidence that you know what your body needs and desires? If you don’t take time to figure that out, you will continue to dishonor yourself by making other commitments more important.

In today’s episode, Tawana and Dr. Roni explore what it means to build a sovereign self and how to honor that self with your time. It’s a wonderful thing to be ambitious and achieve success, but without taking time for yourself, you’re missing out on creating even more amazing results. Listen in to find out why you keep dropping the ball on yourself, and how to honor yourself in every aspect of your life.

What You’ll Learn from this Episode:

  • Why taking time for yourself always yields the most results.
  • The 3 components of every goal.

They share what it’s like to be in resistance instead of commitment, and why both are okay as long as you make the choice.
